Real Life Presents:
Flowers Of Palo
A queer indie-rock band formed in 2018 in Truro, but now making their home in London. Floating between modern indie-rock, abstract post-punk and beachy cornish surf pop, the band's sound is one of its own. After playing shows from Falmouth to Glasgow, and festival slots at Leopalloza, Boardmasters & more, the band are no strangers to the live circuit.
Storming out of Truro College in summer 2020, FacePaint are the newest bunch of slacker punks to emerge from the Cornwall scene. With fewer than 20 shows under their belt and two self-released EPs, FacePaint are already notorious for sets that are consistently chaotic, intense and brimming with the spirit of the 80s punk scene.
Punchy, rhythmic surf gaze, blending raucous and jangly post-punk guitars with serene vocal harmonies and spoken word passages. Rated an excellent source for your daily Omega 3 intake.
3 noisy bastards from West London. A well-oiled machine of a rhythm section, with brutally honest guitar parts alongside rambling lyrical wit. The intricacy of their noise shall not go unnoticed.
