Conceived in the winter of 2017, Tundra Love began building the foundations for a band principled upon a disregard for conventional stylistic restraints. Harnessing a harmonious balance between dark and light – their uncompromising, off-kilter riffs combine with delicate, atmospheric melodies to create a new breed of guitar music.
Incorporating elements of desert rock, shoegaze and experimental art rock, Tundra Love imprint songs with their own unique melancholic signature. Their influences range from KYUSS, Jeff Buckley, Ataxia and The Smashing Pumpkins to Ty Segall, Tool and more. Practising a fluid and experimental songwriting process, Tundra Love allows the spectrum of their sound to be as broad as possible, whilst still remaining under the umbrella of their so-called “spook rock” style.
FILM, a 3 piece band, inspired by Jeff Buckley, tom waits and Elliot Smith, free sounding songs, chilling melodies and raw lyrics.
Drawing inspiration from bands such as Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine and Wolf Alice, Lemondaze are the female co-fronted, 8 legged love child of shoegaze and post-punk from Cambridge. Their dreamy sound results in a wall of fuzzy, swirling guitars, hammering drums and thundering bass lines.
They will be releasing their long-awaited debut EP in 2019.
